(Y/n)’s POV

I open my eyes to find, that my soul was still very solidly connected to my mortal body.

(Y/n): I’m alive.

I realise that I was hugging something very large and warn, and slightly damp in a warm way. No wait that’s blood. Is that my blood or hers, because right now I can’t tell. I slid my right arm up to her neck and searched for a pulse. Ah good, a stable, strong pulse; but she wasn’t conscious. I gentle run my hand down her back and sigh when I find what I wasn’t hope to. Shrapnel; very small fragments but still very much there. I glance down at my wings, which I had wrapped around her, and I saw holes. Apparently, my wings aren’t very durable. I finally remember that I’m in pain. I look down to see an unwelcoming sight: a large piece of metal, about half a metre long, had gone straight through my torso and had impaled Ruby. Thankfully, it had gone to the left of my spine and under my rib cage. Also, it hadn’t impaled Ruby too deeply.

I slowly got to my knees and separated my torso from Ruby’s. I then quickly rip off one of my sleeves and wrap it around her wound. Keeping Ruby alive is my number one priority.

*in head* Fang: I’M AWAKE!!! Oh, ‘sup.
*in head* Shade: Look who woke up late.
*in head* Crimson: Is everyone stable?
*in head* (Y/n): All good my end.
*in head* Fang: Doing well
*in head* Shade: Feeling spiffy.
*in head* Crimson: Good.
*in head* (Y/n): We have to get Ruby back to a hideout.

I look around to see that my body is exactly where I left it, in the tunnel. There are Grimm everywhere, they probably thought that I was a dead Grimm… but now…

The Grimm around me begin to growl.

(Y/n): I hate you all.

I pick up Ruby and start running. I am in no condition to fight and I can transform again while I’m on such low aura. My wings are wrecked, so I can’t fly. All I can’t do is run.

*in head* (Y/n): Fang, are there any outposts or hideouts nearby?
*in head* Fang: There is a Grimoire hideout a few streets down, and about half a mile past that, there’s the outpost you setup.
*in head* (Y/n): Right we’ll head there. Ruby, won’t be able to get into Grimoire hind out.

(For those who can remember about the Grimoire hideouts; allow me to explain. Sanctuary, the home of the Grimoires, is protected by a magical barrier, which only allows creatures with the Grimoire mark pass through. Hideouts have small barriers like the Sanctuary barrier that do the same thing. These hideouts are scattered outside the kingdoms.)

I run as fast as can, through mountain Glenn. I can now hear the Grimm chasing me, they were gaining on us.

*in head* (Y/n): No, no, and no!

More good news comes when I hear a very loud screech, from above. A Nevermore had joined the chase.

*in head* Crimson: AND THE GOOD NEWS JUST KEEP COMING!

I continue to run, until I see a pack of Grimm ahead. I skid to a holt and crouch behind a pile of rubble. I was trapped; Grimm ahead and Grimm approaching from behind.

*in head* Fang: (Y/n), we are right next to a Grimoire hideout. The choice is yours.

I look down at Ruby. Do I curse her with the mark of the Grimoire or do I risk her life trying to get to my outpost?
Our chances of survival are diminishing. Option number one is going to have to do. But, there is one problem: to give her the mark, we either need to make a blood pack oooooooooooooooorrrrr ihavetokissher… And she also has to accept the … kiss. But I don’t think either of us can take losing any more blood.
*in head* Shade: Remember, she has to accept the kiss, not the mark. Ease her into it.
I blush deeply at this.
*in head* (Y/n): SHADE!
*in head* Shade: What? It was a suggestion.
*in head* Crimson: We’re running out of time guys!

The Grimm are close to finding us. If I was going to do something, it had to be now.
I get her to regain consciousness, by sending a small amount of aura down her spine. After a couple of seconds, she slowly opened eyes.


Ruby’s POV

Ruby: Reaper?
Reaper: Forgive me.
Ruby: For wha-
He cut me off but gently placing his lips against mine. My face turned bright red. After a second, I went along with it. And then the strangest thing happens.
I felt energy rush down my back and through my limbs. And soon, I felt my left arm heat up. We separate and stare at each other.
Reaper: (slowly, looking confused) you okay?
Ruby: Yeah, but-
A loud roar fills the air. I look pass him to see a Beowolf about to attack. Reaper picks me up and runs across the street…
*in head* Ruby: Wait, where are we? I through we were in a tunnel.
Reaper continues to run towards a wall.
Ruby: Reaper there’s a wall.
Reaper: I know.
We pass straight through the wall and land on the hard floor on the other side. I try to get up, but my body is in too much pain.
Ruby: I can’t get up.
I look over at him and gasp as a see the large shard of metal going right through his torso.

Ruby: Reaper!
Reaper: (Breathing heavily) I’m good… it’ll heal soon… you’ll see.
Ruby: The metal won’t!
Reaper: I’ll… do it later.
Ruby: Reaper, are you sur… Reaper? REAPER!?
His body had gone limp.
Ruby: No, no, no, Reaper stay with me!


Time skip to next day.

(Y/n)’s POV

I fell odd. It’s like I’m being filled with energy and drained of it at the same time.
*in head* Shade: Should we get up?
*in head* (Y/n): Five more minutes.
*in head* Fang: Who remembers where we are?
*in head* Crimson: Well, we were in a hideout with Ruby and… Oh crap RUBY!

I sit up with a jolt.

(Y/n): RUBY!

I look around to find two females staring at me. One was Ruby and the other…

Sill: Big brother!
She tackles me back to the floor with a hug, and nestles her face into my chest.
Sill: Oh, I was so worried about you. I felt my mark pulse and that only happens when you in serious pain, so I ran as fast as I could to find you.
(Y/n): Well it’s good to see you too, Sill.
Sill then looked over at Ruby.
Sill: So, who’s she?
(Y/n): You didn’t introduce yourself?
Sill: I’m not much of a conversationalist.
(Y/n): Yeah, me neither.
Sill: Is she your birth sister?
(Y/n): (I giggle) No, she isn’t. She’s just a good friend of mine.
Sill: Sorry, it’s just with the wolf ears, and the black and red.
Ruby: Wolf ears? What do you mean? (Reaching up to her head)
Ruby touches the top of her head, to find a set of very soft, wolf ears.
Ruby: WHAT!? Why do I have wolf ears?
(Y/n): Yeah, I have some explaining to do.

I then explain what and who the Grimoires are; I tell her about the mark and I explain how in copies some of the givers power.
(Y/n): … so you must have received some of Crimsons power.
Ruby: So, why did it turn me into a Faunus?
(Y/n): (I shrug) It turned me into a Faunus. Oh, and that’s why I said sorry before I kissed you; I wanted to save you, but I felt really bad about cursing you with the Grimoire mark.
Ruby: Oh. Well, it’s okay, the ears are cute. I’m just worried about what Yang is going to say.
(Y/n): I’m worried about what Yang is going to do to me. Speaking of which: we need to get you back to Beacon. They sealed the tunnel, so were taking the long way back.
Sill: Mum’s going to get worried if I stay away for too long, so I’ll take my leave now.
(Y/n): Okay. Send my regards, and give mum and dad a hug for me.
Sill: ‘kay, later Reaper.

She leaves.

(Y/n): Come on, we’d best be going too.
Ruby: Yeah.

We walk outside. Once outside I turn my face to the sky and take a deep breath.

(Y/n): So, do you want to ride on my back to save time?
Ruby: I’m not that slow!
(Y/n): I’m talking about shadow wolf, he can travel at your top speed for hours.
Ruby: Oh, okay. I do want to get back as soon as possible.
I transform into my wolf form and shift into shadow wolf.
Ruby: Wow. I’ve never had a good look at you when you’re in this form. It’s so cool.
(Y/n): Thank you. Now get on and hug me tightly, or you’ll fall off.
Ruby: Okay.
She hops on and wraps her arms around my body and held on.
(Y/n): Ready?
Ruby: Yeah.
I then dash off as fast as I could towards Vale. This was going to be a long trip, we’d have to stay the night somewhere.

*in head* Fang: Well there’s that house you own, on the outskirts of Vale.
*in head* Shade: I like that house.

Ruby: WOOHOO!!! We’re going so fast.
(Y/n): You want to go faster?
Ruby: Yes please.
I double my speed and Ruby holds on tighter to stop herself from falling off.
Ruby: (Shouting over the wind) so how long will it take to get to Beacon?
(Y/n): It will take about fourteen hours at this speed. There’s a reason we came here on a Bullhead.
Ruby: (Concerned) can run for that long?
(Y/n): No. I suggest we find a place to stay for the night.
I felt Ruby tighten her grip at the thought of spending the tonight with me. (Not in that way.)
Ruby: So, where should we stay?
(Y/n): I own a house on the outskirts of Vale. We should reach it by seven o’clock.
Ruby: Why do you own a house?
(Y/n): It’s like an outpost, in a public area.
Ruby: That makes sense.
(Y/n): I’ll get you something to eat soon. You must be starving.
Ruby: Yeah. Thank you.


Time skip to half six (6:30)

We had finally reach the for-mentioned house. We had passed a few towns on the way and I had bought Ruby food. Another good this about being an assassin, is that you don’t get taxed, for what you earn, so I have a lot of money. (And, yes, I did get Ruby some cookies.)

Ruby: Wow, this is a nice house.
(Y/n): Thank you.

We walk to the door and a thought occurs to Ruby.

Ruby: Do you have to keys on you?
(Y/n): Don’t need them.

I slid the door-bell to the right and place my index finger on the pad underneath. There is the sound of unlocking, and I pushed open the door.

(Y/n): After you.
Ruby: Thank you.


We walk in and I quickly show her where everything is. The bedrooms, the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom and so on.

(Y/n): I’ll go make us dinner. Only having one meal in a day isn’t healthy.
Ruby: Thank you, but what should I do in the mean-time.
(Y/n): In the living room I have a reasonable verity of game, you could watch TV or you could take a nap. Treat this home as your own.
Ruby: I think I’ll watch TV, see what happened in Vale after we ‘left’.
(Y/n): Be my guest. But call me if you find anything, you know how I worry.
Ruby: (cheerfully) Okay.

I go into the kitchen and prepare the ingredient to make ‘spaghetti bolognese with meatballs’. Not for romantic reasons, just because it’s easy and quick to make. I am about to start when I hear Ruby call my name.

Ruby: (Nervously) Err, Reaper?
I walk into the living room, vault over my sofa and land next to Ruby.
(Y/n): sup.
Ruby: Look (simply pointing at the TV screen.)
The TV shows the news channel, and Vale.

News reporter: Citizens are still shocked about the Grimm outbreak in central Vale two days ago. Reports confirm that it was a terrorist action, caused by a train going through the abandoned train network, below Vale. Thankfully a team of huntresses-in-training and two huntsman, were on and survived the train crash and were ready to protect the city.

The TV then shows a clip of Haden wrecking all the Grimm around him.

News reporter: Reports also say that two students didn’t make it out of the tunnels before, Glynda Goodwitch of Beacon, sealed it. Here is an interview with one of the missing student’s sister, who was on the train.

Ruby gets on the edge of her seat and leans forward.

News reporter: Hello, Yang Xiao Long, how are you felling?
Yang: I’ve been better, but I’m feeling good.
News reporter: Your sister was trapped underground two days ago. How you feel about that?
Yang: Well, at the time I was really angry, and I hurt a good friend of mine. But he reminded who Ruby was with; Reaper is the most caring and protective person I know. If they survived, he’ll bring her back to me. (She starts to tear up) I just… really hope she’s okay.

Ruby starts to cry now. I wrap my arm around her and hold her close for comfort.

News reporter: And now we talk to Reaper’s best friend and partner.
My ears twitch and the mention of Haden.
News reporter: You partner in missing and you don’t seem all too worried. Care to tell us why?
Haden: Reaper is the most exceptional person I have ever met or heard about. There is not a single doubt in my mind that he is bringing Ruby back right now. To be honest, I’m more worried about Ruby’s team, they’re all very torn up because of their missing leader.
In the back ground, we can see Blake, Weiss and Haden comforting the crying Yang.

Ruby can’t take it anymore. She turns to me and hugs me tightly, still crying. I hug her back.

(Y/n): Ruby, we’ll be back at Beacon tomorrow, I’ll make sure of it.
Ruby: (Crying) it’s just… they don’t even know I’m alive, and I’m watching them.
(Y/n): Yeah, it sucks that Roman took your scroll. But you can’t just cry about it. Here. (I give her a quick peck on the forehead.)

She froze, then buries her head in my chest to hide a blush.
(Y/n): Feel better?
Ruby: (Whispering) Yeah.
(Y/n): Good. Well, I’m going to see to our dinner.
I get up and start to walk away, but I stop because of something tugging on my arm. I turn to see Ruby holding my arm.
Ruby: Can I help you cook? I just don’t want to be alone, right now.
(Y/n): (Smiling) Okay, come on.


Haden’s POV

I am sitting on the roof of the dorms. It’s late and I am just staring at the moon. I am in a perfect trance, until I hear my name.

Yang: Haden?
I turn to see Yang had just climbed onto the roof.
Haden: Oh, hey hot stuff
Yang: What are you doing up here?
Haden: Thinking, you?
Yang: Worrying.
Haden: What is it going to take to stop you from worrying.
Yang: It’s easy for you to say, your sister isn’t missing.
Haden: Hey, Reaper’s practically my brother. I’d be worrying to, if I didn’t have so much faith in him.
Yang: (On the verge of tears) How can you be so sure? You saw what happened, they jumped off a high-speed train that exploded underneath them.
Haden: Evidently you didn’t watch carefully enough.
Yang: huh?
Haden: Reaper wrapped his body around Ruby to protect her from the blast.
Yang gasps and stumbles back, tears filling her eyes.
Haden: (Rushing up to her) Hey, are you okay?
Yang: I promised myself. I promised that I’d protect her. But so far, I haven’t been there to protect her once. When we were younger, in the Emerald forest or here. I couldn’t save her once.
I sits down and I sit next to her.
Haden: (sympathetically) Hey. You may not have been able to save her life on those occasions, but you have always been there for her. Especially when you tried to get her to make some friends.
Yang: She seems to appreciate Reaper a lot more though.
Haden: (Giggling) there’s a reason for that.
Yang: What?
Haden: Oh come on. Don’t tell me you haven’t noticed.
Yang: What?
Haden: How Ruby is always so shy around Reaper. How Reaper is always there to protect Ruby.
Yang: Do you think they’re in love.
I just laugh in response.
Haden: Can’t say I don’t know how they fell though.
Yang suddenly had a slight saddened shift in tone.
Yang: Oh… so you have fallen in love.
Haden: Indeed.
Yang: Who is it?
Haden: Well, she’s very attractive, she’s a good fighter and she likes to look out for the people she holds close.
Yang: (Confused) Pyrrha?
Haden: (Laughing) Funny you should say that, but no. I give you more clues. She has a few… unusual friends, she can be a little ‘hot-headed’ at times and she can also be referred to as hot.
Yang’s face lit up.
Yang: Is it me.
Haden: Bingo.
Before I could say anything else, Yang tackles me to the… roof.
Yang: Oh, I love you to?
Haden: Wait, how did you fall in love with me? I’ve killed more people than you’ve ever met.
Yang: I doubt that. Anyway, I’ve put twice as many people than you have ever killed in hospital.
Haden: I… don’t doubt that.
Yang: Besides, every boy I have ever met has treated me like a bimbo because of what I where. But you and Reaper treated me normally. But you seemed a little more normal than Reaper. No offence to him.
Haden: I’m sure he’d forgive you. Anyway, that must suck, having everyone treat you like that because you’re beautiful.
Yang: Are you trying to make me blush?
Haden: If I get you to blush a deep red, I will consider that a ground breaking achievement. Speaking of which…
I lean over and kiss Yang on the lips. I lean back to see her face deep red.
Haden: (Laughing) Mission accomplished!
Yang suddenly pins me to the ‘roof’ by my arms and leans over me, her eyes bright red.
Yang: You just stole my first kiss. (Seductively) Let me return a favour.


Time skip after the make-out scene

Haden: Feel better.
Yang smiles.
Yang: Yeah. Though, I wish I knew where they are right now.



(Y/n)’s POV

Ruby and I had finished making dinner together and we are now sitting at my dining table eating it.

(Y/n): So, how are we going to tell Yang about the ears?
Ruby switches her ears.
Ruby: I’m not sure. I just hope she understands that, that was the only way to save me.
(Y/n): Me too. I hope your teams okay too.
Ruby: Aren’t you worried about Haden?
(Y/n): Na, he knows it’ll take a lot more than that to kill me and I wouldn’t let anything happen to you.
Ruby: Why is that?
(Y/n): Why’s what?
Ruby: You’ve saved my life like three times now; why?
I think for a moment. It isn’t just because I like her, because I’d save just about anyone in danger.
(Y/n): I guess, I want to be like my mother, my Grimm mother that is.
Ruby: What do you mean?
(Y/n): Well, you know how she saved me. I was just an experiment, a failed experiment at that; but she still put herself in danger to save me. I want to be like that.
Ruby: She seem like a nice person.
(Y/n): Yeah, I think she’d like you.

After dinner I show Ruby a collection of female cloths for when I have guests other than Haden; like my family or other assassins I work with. This is so, she has something to wear when she goes to bed.


Later

(Y/n): Good night Ruby sleep well.
Ruby: (Blushing) Actually, erm, this might sound weird but, I have a hard time sleeping in new places, so I was wondering if I could sleep with you tonight. You know what, it’s stupid, don’t worry about it.
(Y/n): Okay.
Ruby: Huh?
(Y/n): My sister also has a hard time sleeping in new places. So sometimes like to sleep with me to help her feel safe.
Ruby: Thank you.


Later in my room

I am lying in my bed reading a book. The book is one I thoroughly enjoy; it’s about a boy that becomes Death’s apprentice, in a world that is flat. (Comment if you know the book).
Then Ruby walks in her night wear. It is similar to what she owned, but the top and bottom are both black and the top has petal patterns on it.

(Y/n): Hello Ruby
Ruby: (Shyly) Hi. Thanks for understanding.
(Y/n): It’s okay.
Ruby hops in and, to my surprise, rests her head on my chest.
Ruby: Reaper?
(Y/n): Yeah?
Ruby: Is there any other reason you help others? You know, other than to be like you mother.
(Y/n): Well yeah, there is. But it’s a little odd.
Ruby: What is it?
(Y/n): You know when I saved you when you were younger?
Ruby: Yeah, how could I forget?
(Y/n): Do you remember how you thanked me?
Ruby: I gave you a hug.
(Y/n): For some reason, than hug made you feel, extremely happy about what I had done. Somehow it made it more than worth it. It pretty much changed my life.
Ruby: You know, you’ve changed my life to; probably more dramatically.
(Y/n): How?
Ruby: After you saved us, I wanted to be like you. I wanted to save others and get nothing in return. I wanted to be the one help others for no reason other than: that’s what I do. That’s why I want to become a huntress.
(Y/n): Wow.
Ruby: And, there’s a reason I wanted to use a scythe.
(Y/n): (Amazed) Wait. You use a scythe because I did.
Ruby: Yeah, pretty much.
(Y/n): I had no idea, I had such an effect on someone’s life.
Ruby: I’m glad you did.
She gave me I tight hug and relaxed.
Ruby: Actually, I have been meaning to tell you something to.
(Y/n): What?
Ruby: (Nervously) well… ever since we first met. I’ve well… liked you.
(Y/n): You may need to elaborate on that.
Ruby: (Blushing deeply) Well… I…… I THINK I LOVE YOU!
She quickly covers her mouth with her hands.
Ruby: (Burring her face in my chest) Forget I said that.
(Y/n): (Simply) I think I love you too.
Ruby: Huh?
(Y/n): I said: I think I love you too.
Ruby: But you’re so much stronger than me. And I’ve caused you so much trouble.
(Y/n): It’s no trouble at all when it’s you. That’s how I know I love you.
Ruby just starts to tear up and hugs me tighter.
(Y/n): Hey, are you okay?
Ruby: (Crying with joy) I’m just… really happy.
I cuddle Ruby back and kiss her on the forehead
(Y/n): You’re too cute for your own good, you know that?
Ruby: And you’re too nice. But that’s what I like about you.
(Y/n): That’s what I like about you too.
Ruby: Night, Reaper.
(Y/n): Goodnight, Petal.
Ruby giggles at her new pet name.
Ruby: Very well, Vulcan.
(Y/n): You’ve done your research, haven’t you?
Ruby: (Giggles again) Yeah.

Vulcan is another name for the god ‘Hephaestus’, who was the son of Hera. (Not the species or plane. (you nooblet))

(This paragraph is a quick history lesson, so skip it if you don’t care. It isn’t relevant to the story.)
Hephaestus (Vulcan) is the god of fire, blacksmiths, stonemasons, technology, and volcanoes. Interestingly, he is also one of the very few gods who isn't a ‘hottie’. He's been called all sorts of things: short, misshapen, ugly, lame… It's enough to make a guy feel insecure. And insecure he is. His looks caused his mom, Hera, to toss him off of Mount Olympus when he was born, they caused Athena to reject his advances, and they cause his ultra-gorgeous wife, Aphrodite, to constantly cheat on him. Hephaestus may not be good looking, but he's famous for making beautiful and fabulous things. Aphrodite's girdle, Eros' bow and arrows of love, Achilles' impenetrable armor, and the sun-chariot of Helios are all the products of Hephaestus' forge. And if there is one thing Reaper loves, (platonically) it’s technology.


Time skip to morning.

Ruby’s POV

I wake up to find I am the only one in the bed. I slow lift my body of the bed and sit up. I smell then air to find the pleasing tent of fried bacon and egg. I get up, change and walk in to the kitchen. There, I find Reaper cooking us breakfast.
Ruby: Why did you wake up so early?
(Y/n): Oh, morning Petal. I’m up to make us breakfast.
Ruby: But why ‘this’ early?
(Y/n): I’m sure your team is missing you. So, lets get back as soon as possible.
Ruby: Okay.

We, later, have breakfast and head out towards Beacon, early.

When we nearly reach Beacon, I am tried.
Ruby: (Panting) so… tiring.
Reaper: Do you want a ‘piggy-back’?
I give Reaper a look, but gave in, after less than a second. I was too tired to argue.
Ruby: (I sigh) Okay fine.
Reaper gets on one knee and faces the other direction. I slowly get on his back, and he gets up and continues walking.


(Y/n)’s POV

*in head* (Y/n): Huh, Ruby is very light.
I walk with Ruby on my back for a while, until soon, Beacon comes into view.
(Y/n): Let’s let them know we’re close.
Ruby: But we don’t have scrolls.
(Y/n): That isn’t what I had in mind.
I raise my right hand to the sky and send a smoke flare upward.
(Y/n): That should do it.


Haden’s POV

I sat on the roofs, staring at the city beneath me.
*in head* Haden: Come on, Reaper. Where are you?
Suddenly, something strange catches my attention. A strange black smoking flare was raising from the city of Vale. I stare at the flare in confusion, until I finally realise what it is and nearly fall off the roof with joy.

*in head* Haden: I have to get the girls.

I sprit into the classroom, where the remainder of team RWBY are sitting despondently, listening to one of Professor Port’s stories. I run over and pick Weiss and Blake up and sling them over my shoulders.

Blake: Hey!
Weiss: Put me down right now!
Haden: (ignoring the two girls on my shoulders) Yang! No, time to explain! Follow me!
Yang: (Confused) Okay.

I run out of the classroom; Yang, barley keeping up. I don’t stop running until I reach the front entrance to Beacon. When I reach my destination, I suddenly stop and put my two captives down. Seconds later Yang final catches up.

Yang: (panting) so… do you… mind… tell me… why we’re here?
Haden: my my, how philosophical.
Yang: You know what I meant.
Haden: We are waiting for a package.
WBY: Huh?


(Y/n)’s POV

I slowly walk up the very long stairway, leading to Beacon’s main entrance. There is a very good reason why people only come here on Bullheads. I finally reach the top and see the rest on mine and Ruby’s team. Ruby had pulled her hood over her head earlier, so I shrug to get her attention. The second she sees Yang, she hopes of my back and tackles Yang to the floor at full speed, with her hood still up.

Ruby: YANG!
Yang: RUBY!?

All the girls have a group hug, crying tears of joy, and Haden walks over to me.

Haden: (jokingly) You nearly had me worried that time.
(Y/n): (sarcastically) Sorry about that.
Haden: How’s your stomach? (Referring to the large hole I had in my torso two days ago.)
(Y/n): It’s healing nicely.

While Ruby is getting squashed by her teammates, Yang pulls back Ruby’s hood, reviling her new, unusual ears.

Blake: A-Are those… wolf ears?
Yang then runs over to me and picks me up by my collar.
Yang: What did you do to Ruby!?
Ruby: Yang wait.
I nervously laugh.

Time skip

Back in team RWBY’s dorm room, I explain what happened to Ruby and I after the back of the train exploded. Yang wasn’t too thrilled about the idea, that Ruby and I slept in the same bed, or that I kissed her.

(Y/n): So, how have you rascals been while we’ve been away?
Weiss: I’ve been worried sick.
Blake: It’s been rather quiet with you two gone.
Yang: Well, err. (Blushing)
(Y/n): You and Haden are a thing now, right?
Haden: Are you sure your semblance isn’t mind-reading?
Everyone else is speechless.
(Y/n): I’ll take your awkward silence for, my being right.
Yang: (looking down) Y-Yeah.
(Y/n): Congratulations.

Now than we have all caught up. I decide that some invigorating training. So I say my goodbyes and swagger down to the emerald forest, where I spend the rest of my day working out and killing Grimm. After I go back to my dorm and collapse on my bed.

(Y/n): life is good.
Haden: Only you would go training after the week you’ve had.
(Y/n): The tournament is soon and I can’t wait.
Haden: Do you think Ruby is going to be okay? You know, with the ears and Crimson’s energy.
(Y/n): I think the ears make her look cute. Beside, you did okay with Shade’s power.
Haden: Well, you’re right there. Goodnight Reaper.
(Y/n): Night Haden.
